Nick and I (and by that I mean ME) have been getting the house ready for his family to come out in a few weeks. I can't blame Nick, home decor is NOT on the top of a man's "favorite-things-to-do-list." But he has been a good sport nodding his head in agreement every time I ask "isn't that the cutest thing you've ever seen?!" "Doesn't that just look GREAT there?!" Haha. Good man. We are both very excited to be having his family out. We're having a BBQ for my birthday to have our families meet and then headed to a Rockies game for opening weekend. I am so excited to have baseball season back!
We are still trying to get the dogs trained and it seems like every step forward with these goof balls is two steps back. We have certain things NAILED and others are a "day-by-day" scenario. This is especially frustrating in the potty training department. I am going to use my volunteer resources though; a few of the ladies I volunteer with at the animal shelter are professional trainers and hopefully they can teach me a thing or two about talking to dogs! As Caesar say, "Be the pack leader!" And that is exactly what I am striving to be!
