Welcome Aboard

I interviewed for an internship opportunity this week and was accepted! I will be interning with CASA, a child advocacy program that gives abused children a voice in court. I am hoping it will give me an alternative view of the criminal justice system (I have mainly focused my studies on profiling offenders and punishment/rehab). Seeing the victims side will be a change and hopefully make for a fuller education and understanding.

Introducing Cricket!

We added another little rascal to our family this weekend. Over a two week process we took the steps to adopt a Boston Terrier from the FRAN Network. He is one year old and all spunk! Him and Moose (who is now 6 months) are getting along great. Goofballs.

Where I spend my time...

I'm sure many of you are wondering where all my time is going (since it obviously is not going towards my social life). Well, here is my dirty little secret...it's in the school work! And here is what I have to show for it:

I have gotten all A's thus far in the semester and am completely stoked! I was moping about having no social life over the past two months, but I suppose in the long run, the A's make it worth it.
